DAV Van

The DAV Van is available Monday-Thursday to take Veterans to their doctor appointments at the VA in Albuquerque. You must be a Veteran and you must have an appointment at the VA or be referred to a facility by the VA to use our services. The rides are free of charge. You must be able to get on and off the van by yourself, as we are not  wheelchair equipped. The appointments have to be early, as we have to leave the VA no later than 2pm.

We need a driver that will take Veterans to the Las Cruces clinic or to the El Paso VA occassionally, as needed. I really need a co-driver or someone who will make the run to Albuquerque for me sometimes, in case I get ill or something comes up and I am not able to go. You just need a New Mexico drivers license and insurance. No CDL licenses are required. You must be able to pass a physical and have a clean driving record to qualify to drive. There is no charge for the physical.
