Hello American Legion Family. What an exciting summer we had. Our golf tournament raised $6,700 so $1,600 was given to each the SALS, Auxiliary and the Riders. I want to thank them all for their assistance. A special thanks to the Auxiliary for giving back their $1,600 for the repairs needed on our retaining wall.

We will be having a Potato Bar Fundraiser for Luke on Oct 14 th at 4:00. Donations of items for the potato\ bar would be appreciated. We’ll also be having an auction and items are needed to auction off. Lastly, we will do a 50/50 and Bill Molina is donating his time as DJ. Luke has been off work due to an injury. He’s been a loyal bartender here at the Post for 10 years and this fundraiser will show him how much we care.

I want to give a shout out to the Auxiliary for sending out their 10,258 th Care Package. What a feat they have accomplished. If you would like to volunteer to help Dave in the kitchen, please sign up on the sheet posted on the kitchen door. Don’t forget to join us for our annual Halloween Bash on October 28 th . Come
dressed up in your favorite costume and have a good time! Thank you for being so supportive of the American Legion.

What a great golf tournament we had this year with a net profit of $6,700. Thanks to the Legion Riders, the SALs, the Auxiliary and all the volunteers who made this tournament a success. Special thanks to Bob Acre for spearheading the tournament, Sully and JT for emceeing and scoring, as well as Gene Hill for the delicious brisket.

I am so proud to be the Commander of this organization. When there is a project to be done we all come together to see it through. Thank you, Legion Family, for all your support.
