Membership

The SAL gained 2 new members in April. Make welcome Andrew Johnston and Shane Ross.

I would like to take this time to remind all members that their dues are due for 2015. We still have a number of members that haven’t renewed. The Bartenders at the post will be happy to take your money and give you a receipt. If you want your new card mailed to you be sure and make this notation on your receipt or they will be at the post.

Meals

On May 20, members of the SAL will be cooking Pot Roast, with mashed potatoes and gravy, mix vegetables, salad and rolls. Come out and enjoy.

Business

Remember we have flag poles and replacement flags for sale. See your Bartenders or any members of the SAL. The cost of the Flag and poles has increased to $60.00.

New Officers

New officers were elected at our last meeting. The officers for last year will remain for the upcoming year. They are Gene Hill , commander, Deon Hardy, First Vice, Donnie Polstin, Adjutant, William “Bill” Nenno, Finance Officer and Tillman Smith, Sergeant at Arms.

Our next meeting May 19, at 6:30 PM at the post

As always, remember that organizations are not really organizations, they are just people. Help out when you can and when you see them, thank those that do help out and let’s all work together for the common good.
Thanks for supporting our Post, our Community and most of all —the Veteran
