The SAL did not hold a meeting in December.

Membership
2018 dues are coming in a little faster now that the end of the year is approaching. Remember after January 1 you will have to get a current card before you will be allowed in the post. See your bartender for these. We are now at 65%of last years.

Events
The Christmas party was enjoyed by the ones that attended.
The Angels Tree was a blast. It was so much fun watching these kids opening there gifts. Thanks to everyone that participated in this event.

We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and 2018 well be a super year for everyone.

Meeting
Our next meeting will be January 16 at 6:30pm at the Post. Plan on being at the meeting and become an active member in the post.

As always, remember that organizations are not really organizations, they are just people. Help out when you can and when you see them, thank those that do help out and let’s all work together for the common good.

Sons of the American Legion- Commander Gene Hill
The SAL held their monthly meeting October 17, 2017. Attending was Donnie Polston, Bill Laswell, Bill Nenno, Tillman Smith, Bob Nellis, Gene Hill.

Membership
2018 dues are coming in at a slow rate. We now are at 32% of 2017. Regan C. Spencer, grandson of Jeffrey B. Spencer post 44 member. Welcome Regan all 16 months of you.

Donations:
The SALs received thank you letters from all donations that were made last.

Events
Don’t forget all the activities that are happening at the post this Month.

We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as the next newsletter will be out afterwards.

Meeting
