Sons of the American Legion – Commander Gene Hill
The SAL held their monthly meeting March 20, 2018.

Attending was Donnie Polston, Deon E Hardy, Bill Nenno, Bob Nellis, Gene Hill and Tillman Smith.

Mr. Bill Laswell suffered a heart attack Monday, March 19 and is in the hospital in Las Cruces. Thankful to say at this time Bill is home and doing well. The Doctors installed a stent.

Membership
Membership is going well. We had 1 new member in March and 2 transfers.

Donations
We made a donation of $200 to the T or C. schools for purchasing school supplies for the needed pupils.

We now have a stock of flags in that are for the pole and flag set we sell. They are still $14 per flag. We have the poles in for $60.

Officers
We will be nominating officers at our next meeting and voting in May. If you would like to run for an office or know someone who would like to attend the next meeting or let one of our officers know.

Meeting
The next SAL meeting will be April 17 at 6:30pm at the Post. Plan on being at the meeting and become an active member in the post. We will be talking about new officers.
